A ZAKU Phantom pilot assigned to the Minerva. Rey was a classmate of Shinn and Lunamaria at the ZAFT military academy, and like them he wears the uniform of an elite ZAFT Red. His calm, rational personality and superb combat skills make him a major asset to the Minerva, and he enjoys the special trust of Chairman Durandal. The details of his past are something of a mystery, as is the precise nature of his relationship to Durandal.
